Carisa: Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. MLK, Jr. was a great man. Now to you, he may not be important, but to me he’s a hero. He fought for African-Americans all over. He didn’t care if you were colored or white. He didn’t care if you were a boy or a girl.

He believed in peace and love. He believed we could all join together as one, without any problems. He kept his faith through good moments and bad, but his death upsets me and makes me sad. Although he’s gone, he will be missed and remembered.

I thank him from the bottom of my heart because he has made a difference in many lives!
