Brittany: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
By Brittany Langford
Dr. Martin Luther King was more than a man. MLK was the friece changer of the world. I’m sure everybody has heard of MLK. He’s more than a famous African-American; he’s a legend.
In honor Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, I decided to write about him. He has made it possible for whites and Blacks to sit at the same table at a restaurant. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has made it possible for little white children and little Black children to go to school together.
MLK didn’t care what color you were and neither should you. We are all equal, and we should treat each other equally. After you’re done reading this essay, you should ask yourself, “What would the world be like if MLK was still living?” MLK means a lot to me, and I’ll leave it up to you to feel the same way.
