Who
All students are encouraged to participate. Clemente School students have participated and received recognition in the past for their works.

What
The Fire Safety Essay Contest is held in conjunction with the Philadelphia Fire Department.

When
Teachers must submit students’ essays to Ellen Getzik in the main office no later than the November 8th deadline.

How
Students looking for extra help or motivation are encouraged to see Mr. Martin, sponsor of the Creative Writers Club at Clemente School. Submitted essays will be available for viewing on the Student Writing website once essays have been returned to the school from the Fire Department.
