Video Production Project
(with Novel-based Reading/Writing Club)

Who
Escritor X Creative Writers and Novel-based Reading/Writing Clubs work together to produce a video for their peers.

What
An instructional video requested by Assistant Principal James Douglass as a way to get word out about upcoming PSSA’s (State Standardized Testing).

When
Throughout the months of January, February and March. Shooting of video footage ends the first week of March. The video production process will be completed digitally during the next two weeks of March to be broadcast the last week of March, just before testing begins. Much video footage will be shot on Saturdays in addition club days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

Rooms other than 102 used for video footage will be announced.

Why
To students prepare themselves and their peers for the upcoming PSSA’s by offering information and advice on the tests and what they can do to successfully pass these tests. Also to discuss the benefits of the tests and how they help the school, its students and the educational process as a whole.

More Information
Video premiered on Monday, March 24, 2003 with two showings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It will also be available for viewing for parents during report card conferences March 25-27, 2003. For more information, please contact 215-291-5400 (Main Office) or e-mail us about this event.
