Jocelyn: Love Is Like a Rose

Love is like a rose,
That stands so tall,
Love is like the sun,
That shines so bright.
You’re my bright red rose,
That i cant get my eyes off of,
When we made eye contact,
I felt like I was going to faint.
When you smiled at me,
I didn’t know what to do or say,
But one thing you did to steal my heart away was,
You said “I love you”.
When you went away,
I didn’t know what to do or say,
And I felt another way.
The bright red rose is now dead,
But know I know what love is about,
And how it all ends,
With a simple dead rose.
