Carisa: Choices

There are many choices
we have to make in life.
Whether it’s smart or as dumb
as picking up knives or guns.
In life we must realize
the things we have,
not the bad or sad
experiences we’ve had
in the past.

We have a choice
whether it’s to let
people suck us
into drugs or violence.

We must think of the little
things people or friends
might do to us,
like peer pressure.

Before we make
any decisions or choices,
we must know
in our hearts we’re sure.

We must know right from wrong.
So before saying yes or no,
think out things nice and slow.
And remember to always stand strong!
