Carisa: My Best Friend

These are the things
a best friend should be
according to me:
sweet, understanding, helpful,
caring, funny, respectful, not shy, etc.,
just like my best friend Brittany.
Brittany is always there for me
when I need a shoulder to lean on.
I can talk to her about anything.

She knows how to cheer me up
when I’m sad
and calms me down
when I’m mad.

We’ve been together
through thick and thin.
We’re each other’s eyes
when one can’t see.

There’s so many good things
we can say about each other.
We love one another,
we’re as close as jelly
is to peanut butter.
