When is it my turn
to show the world who I am?
When can I show them
that I care?
The world is as big
as a book report.
But the memory
is really short.

When do I get to show them
that life does matter?
Doing rights and wrongs
and getting fatter.

I am one person
who holds the truth.
Lies are imaginations
and nothing but stupidity.

But the truth holds the key
to reality.

True that it hurts
knowing the truth,
but it is also true that you
hurt the people you lie to,

people you care about
and help you through
life and your problems.

When do I get to
show them that this is true
it’s… REALITY!!!!!
